Government drug price control, circulars & notifications — as per DPCO 2013

The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) is the Government of India body that fixes and regulates the prices of scheduled drugs under the Drug (Prices Control) Order, 2013 (DPCO 2013). At Drugs OK we follow the ceiling prices notified by NPPA and never charge above the regulated MRP. Pricing transparency: If you ever find a scheduled medicine priced above the NPPA ceiling price on Drugs OK, please report it to us at enquiry@drugsok.com — we will correct it and refund any excess.

How NPPA Pricing Protects You

Ceiling prices for essential medicines (scheduled formulations) are capped by law.
Manufacturers cannot increase prices of scheduled drugs beyond the limits allowed by NPPA.
All MRPs shown on Drugs OK are inclusive of applicable taxes and respect NPPA ceilings.
